REGRETS
1. What was the last thing you regret buying?
A pair of black pumps. They were super cute. Classic. I swear they fit me perfectly in the store, but when I got home, they were simply way.too.big. I bought them specifically for a wedding and suffered through wearing them (I'd bought them at a no-returns store); though, I ended up being barefoot most of the evening. I recently gave them away to my nephew's girlfriend.
2. What was the last sex toy you regret buying?
I guess perhaps the pair of vibrating panties I bought this past Valentine's Day. They did provide some delightful fun while at the restaurant that evening, but ultimately did not work exactly as I'd have liked. I could have created the exact same effect with a bullet we already had at home and normal everyday panties. Alas.
3. Briefly describe a time that you had sex, and you should not have. Why did you do it?
I'd only been dating A a few months. No, I think it may have been over a year. Regardless, I was going home to visit my family. I got a cheaper flight out of a nearby city, so I spent a couple days visiting a friend before flying home. One night we went out to a club. We danced. We partied. We drank. A lot. We ended up going home with the bartender and one of his friends. She spent the night upstairs with the bartender, and I had some amazing sex with the other guy.
The next morning, we vowed not to tell anyone - especially A.
I was too wracked with guilt. I was not nearly as open then as I am now, and A certainly wasn't either. I broke down and told him over IM the next day. What a terrible way to break such devastating news! Anyway, I know I really hurt him. It also made for a bit of a stressful visit home.
Why did I do it? Well, alcohol lowers those inhibitions, I suppose. I just let myself go and enjoy the situation. It only became a regret later.
4. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?
I'm honestly not sure. I had some great times in high school, college. Lots of fun in my 20s. I'm loving my life right. I also know that I have great things in my future. I'm nearly 34 now, but honestly, I think I'd want to stay 38 forever - even though, I'm not there yet. That just seems like a great age. Not too old. Not too young. Plus hopefully we'll be well established living in the Caribbean by then and simply continuing to enjoy life!
5. A good friend’s significant other flirts with you; would you tell your good friend?
I guess it would depend on the intensity of the flirting.
Not studying abroad in college. I was accepted into a program, but later decided I couldn't afford it. Now, I think of it as a great missed opportunity. I don't like to think about how it may have affected my life.
Bonus: What is your biggest regret?
I really don't think I have anything that could qualify as a "big regret." I've really tried to live my life the best way I've seen fit, and everything I've done has helped shape me into the person I am today.

2. Vibrating panties...really? Huh.
ReplyDelete3. Yikes! In an IM. I get why you answered what you answered.
6. That is exactly why I regret changing schools. I was to study abroad (France) my sophomore year with the two girls who were my best friends at the time.
Bonus: Good answer.
Happy TMI sexy,
-H
@Hedone, yeah, they were a bit of a joke. Useless, really. Couldn't get the bullet to actually fit into the panties. Lame.
ReplyDeleteDid I miss the big announcement?
ReplyDelete@Scott, Nope. You haven't missed anything. Big announcement is coming up soon.
ReplyDeleteA question to you. I think everyone regrets something in their life, but if things had happened differently in the past it changes your future. If you had studied abroad would your life be the same now?
ReplyDeleteGood question, Scott. I'd like to think that no matter what I would've found my husband somehow, so I don't think that my life would be too terribly different had I studied abroad. I'd hope that if I had studied abroad the only difference would be my travel/culture experience would be broader by now, and perhaps my career might have found a little better focus.
ReplyDelete1. The dreaded, "when good shoes go bad" story, I've witnessed it too many times. Guys have it so much easier when it comes to shoes.
ReplyDelete4. I think you'll be the sexiest 38 year old around. You'll also be in a new age group.
@Marcus, It happens all too often with shoes. :( *blush* Thanks. I hope so. :-*
