There was a time when just about any movie would be enough to get me going. I didn't need porn when Notting Hill would do the trick! It didn't matter if it was a chick flick or an action film or a drama. Sitting on the couch, with the lights dim and the movie rolling, would generally be enough to get me into a state that would not allow for the end of the movie to be seen - at least not without a short fuck-break.
Now that I've been settled into married life for 6+ years and have watched a ton of movies with my husband, they don't seem to be nearly the aphrodisiac they used to be. ::sigh::

This is a response to a question on Formspring. Got a question for me? Ask away! There's a little box over to there right.
"Desert Hearts" hands down. The first time I saw this as a teenager, late at night, my parents asleep and my heart leaping with every creek of a floorboard, I "crossed the finish line" without a single touch. Now, granted, it might have been the mood of that night, but it's stuck with me ever since.

I also have a special place in my heart for the Bill Murray classic, "Stripes"
I've mentioned this before and I'm a terrible person for it, but some Disney films really get me going. In fairness to myself, there are reasons beyond the inherent sexiness of Disney heroines.
ReplyDeleteThe remake of "The Thomas Crown Affair", with Pierce Brosnan and Renee Russo. Very very hot film.

For me Secretary with James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal. It was the first time I watched a non-porn film (although it is borderline porn in places) and felt so aroused that I needed to deal with it. Watched it accidentally when I couldn't sleep one night. I bought the DVD the next day and have watched it several times since. Thinking about it, actually, is enough :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! I didn't really expect any comments on this post, so thank you!
ReplyDeleteAdvizor, I'm not familiar with these movies.
Lexi, Disney movies do not surprise me at all with you. ;)
Panser, I did see Thomas Crown Affair, and I will agree HOT! I should watch it again.
Purple, I'll check it out!
Looks like I've got a few movies titles to check out. I love a good movie. :))
This is going back a few years, but I remember "Dangerous Liaisons" having me quite worked up. A young Uma Thurman...just wow.... :-)
